Due to a motion to upgrade the town centre and a request to carry out a land reallocation procedure, the town of Kloten began designing its town centre in 2002. As project manager at ewp AG, Philipp Lenzi led the town centre planning from the concept to the implementation phase. Various participation models were tested, new financing models for inner-city development projects were established and new strategic instruments were developed.
